The design for Delhi Public School, Vasant Vihar aims at creating an inviting environment for children. A hexagonal form was chosen to make the massing seem dynamic. The classroom clusters encircle landscaped courtyards which serve as the heart and lungs of the school. Exposed brickwork and jaalis in the exterior facade lend the building an earthy look.
